Men Rising: The New Path of Strength

My Dad James “Buddy” Collins (now in heaven) was a strong man and raised me to follow the rules. But as many men of his generation he didn’t show his emotions, seek medical help or ask for directions. I suppose he felt those actions would make him appear weak.
For too long, strength has been equated with silence. With swallowing emotion. With carrying burdens alone. But we’re seeing something powerful happening—more and more men are choosing a different path.
They are starting to step into healing.
They’re breaking the cycle of emotional isolation that’s been passed down for generations. They’re reclaiming their breath, their bodies, and their voice.
The new strong isn’t about having all the answers—it’s about being willing to ask the deeper questions.
It’s not about never falling—it’s about getting up again with more awareness, more love, and more self-respect.
And that shift isn’t just personal.
It’s planetary.
When men awaken, families heal.

This week, we honor the dads, the brothers, the sons, the uncles, and the chosen family who are showing up in a new way—not as heroes in armor, but as humans in truth.
To the men who rise each day to provide for others— their time, energy, wisdom, and presence. To the protectors, not only of homes and families, but of values, integrity, and dreams. To the quiet guides—mentors, fathers, friends—who offer direction not through domination, but through devotion. You are seen. You are appreciated. You are essential.
Whether you’re a man on this journey, or someone who loves one—thank you for being part of this evolution.
Let’s keep lifting each other up.
With love,
The Harmoneum Family
