He learned that introducing technology meant "holding folks’ hands, supporting them, encouraging them, and helping them make little steps." Simple tools that eased tasks, like grading, often paved the way for broader adoption.

"I didn’t do it because I wanted to get results," he clarified. "I did it because I felt like it was the right thing to do. I believed in it." This radical belief led to incredible outcomes, including near-zero employee attrition and a top-rated workplace.

Education's Future: Personalization & Purpose

Looking ahead, Lane shared his vision for the future of education, particularly the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence (AI). He believes AI will unlock true personalization for students and free teachers from administrative burdens to focus on the "whole child."
